the writing was on the wall from day 1. Rather than focusing on the cause , every one tried to bring their own issues under this umbrella. Classic case of how issues get sidelined. Also shows why a committed leader with clarity is required for any revolution . Emotions only take things to an extent!! | ||

Every Tom, Dick knows that there is some degree of casting couch and also sexual harassment on women in TFC. There is no doubt about it. I support Sri Reddy to some extent though i don't support her methods. But what really disappointed me was the manner in which Women Orgs carried this cause. It was a golden opportunity to move forward this cause, build a consensus, and help those poor affected women. In stead all these Women leaders such as Sandhya, Padma, Sajala etc totally made it a mess. In stead of guidng Sri reddy other properly they wanted more limelight and wanted to apper on TV Channels. They directed their energies on Pawan or some insginificant things that really dont matter diverting entire attention to useless discussion that resulted in chaos. Because of this mess people lostfaith in every body. They should have carried forward this cause very professioanlly with the support of all sections of society. They started brining in political and these caste based media into this whole thing making it a mess. This shows utter lack of vision and leadership in our women leaders. This is really sad. All this 2/3 months of agitation was grossly wasted and problems still persist. |
