have been following this news saaga since yesterday, what constitutional experts are saying is there is no defined rule under thess circumstances however the primary task of governor is to first invite any party that would ensure stable government. In the current circumstance, BJP stable government form cheyyalante they would have to get involved in horse trading and poaching of mlas of the cong-jds parties. Governor should have taken more time to assess the impact of inviting yeddi and invited cong-jds as they have numbers, they deserved a chance, governor acted in haste. Why last night SC didn't stop yeddi's swearing-in is they don't want to involve in any act that would undermine governor rights unless they are 100% sure governor has acted against constitution. Having said that, i think yeddi will be given 48 hours tomorrow to prove his majority on the floor of the assembly. just chill :-) Believe in yourself | ||
