I have got it from NY consulate in 2010. They will just stamp in the passport with police clearance passed .Got it in around 3 days You just need to submit application form and Original passport.Appearing personally is not required (May be you should take authorization letter from the passport holder) | ||

after an interview with USCIS they asked to get a police clearance certificate for my mom as they could not capture finger prints properly/fully. ippudu India vellalaa anukunte, under Consular Services idi kanipinchindi. is this easy to get as described in the website? Did anyone tried? Do I need to take my mom to the Consulate?? as usual no phone lifting at NY Indian Consulate.
