it has to be more than 3 months...and also you have continous insurance,,they dont check for every hour or day...
as per law continous months...if you have day 1 and day 30.then you still have continous insurance

It's minimum 30 days. But why do you need it for 2 days. you have 60 days after your job termination/resignation to get COBRA. You can get it retroactively as well. So I wouldn't take it at all. If you (or your family member) gets sick during these 2 days, you can then get COBRA starting from day 1. Even in this case, if the medical expense is less than the monthly premium, you are better off paying from the pocket than getting COBRA
