Idhi naa lifetime lo choosthanu anukoledu Reports are emerging that Congress has offered an Olive Branch to its Arch-Rival TDP in Telangana for a possible Pre-Poll Alliance in the state. TDP (TS) Senior Leader indulged in the talks has asked for 30 Assembly Segments and Three Parliament Segments. But then, Congress is ready to leave 15-20 Assembly Segments and Two Parliament Segments for TDP (TS). This includes three Assembly segments in the former Khammam district and the Parliament seats of Khammam and Malkajgiri. TDP won Malkajgiri in 2014 but missed Khammam. Both the Lok Sabha segments have significant Settlers Population and the party is still strong there. However, it is said that these talks have happened without the approval of Chandrababu Naidu and the proposal is pending with him right now. Even though it is a rosy offer for the party which is in its deathbed in Telangana, Chandrababu Naidu is fearing the repercussions of such an alliance in Andhra Pradesh Politics given that Congress is seen as the main culprit for the bifurcation. |
