I had to go into a church road in yateley by mistake thinking its the path to swimming pool. Platy bhayya, dont worry , go to any catholic church affiliated to school. I believe you live reading , not sure where in reading. BTW i am not christian but have done some charity work in one catholic church because of collegue. My view - Go into any church , you will be received well and members will come and interact you. between, desi chrisitans treat prasadam as communion, that is why you see them not accepting prasadam from temples. but the concept it entirely different. when you take "Prasadam" we treat is receiving a blessing... where as in christian theology it is accpeting christ... the sermon itself is soul of christ, while the bread and wine are body and blood.. by attending the the sermon, and taking part of sharing the communion, you are accepting christ in his entirity... so it is for christians who have been baptized and are part of church.... Even if a catholic attends a church of another denomination... they wont take part in communion as far as i know. | ||

voook... so, this is where you could probably offend or get into a situation wihch is uncomfortable... the rituals usually end with Communion, where they offer a piece of bread and some wine.. symbolic of body and blood of jesus... during this process,each member goes to the priest and takes the offering. if you are not a christian, dont do this. just stay in your place. even if christians, not everyone goes. idhi theliyaka konchem confuse ayaan... first time...otherwise... they wont be any issues. | ||

ohh dont worry about that.. its not like they dont welcome others... if you are going for a random visit, you could pick any church. if you want to actually get involved with their activities and be a member, thats when you will have to probably research abit. but otherwise, any church would be fine. which place is this? US, UK, India - sorry i never know where you are from. If you want to the church experience to be sort of traditional with customs, pick a catholic or any orthodox church. if you want to visit a church that is more like a gathering with a sermon, rather than a rituals, pick baptiste churches in the US. Baptiste church sermons can be a bit political as well. | ||

Ante Blacks ki separate church. Whites ki separate annatlu. Is it still the prevalent practice? If we need to visit a church, do we first need to figure out if it has such a delineation? Is there a website where we can check it? Daughter wants to go to a church. Inni rojulu I was of the opinion that I could just walk into any church in the town. Ee movie choosaaka not so sure.
