Adhi kooda MacOS is so fussy about security, most of the times I have to enter the password! By contrast, my work PC - logs me in instantly via Hello - and I don't even remember the last time I have had to enter my password. chala pricy gaa vunnayi mac pro lu. saw a refurbished 15 inch mac pro for 1700. i would instead buy a 16 gb i7 windows laptop for ~800. dual boot ubuntu or some flavor of linux vesthe it should be a good development machine. adi kakapothe dell has xps 13 developer edition around 1000. it has good reviews too. | ||

used products konalenu bhayya..recently after doing so much analysis and search..finally bought a dell laptop from costco... 13 inch/touchscreen/256GB SSD/I7 8th gen processor for 650 (incl taxes)... and 4 years warranty for free - most likely this will die in 4 years and will get my money back... Thats not entirely true. If you calculate ROI over a year or more for both a low cost Win machine to Macbook (ROI WRT price paid for the total experience per unit), I guess Macbooks exceeds. Also you can be smart in buying if you wnat to spend little less. I have purchased one MB Air(fully loaded) for $500 on CL for my niece.. its exactly as mine but costs less | ||

iDevices (iPhone, iPad etc) are amazing. I have an iPad Pro and the experience with Apple Pencil - totally unparalleled. My problem is I am heavily invested in the Google ecosystem and hence can't switch. So living with a slightly inferior product as my day to day phone. I disagree with this.. My iPho 4S Blutooth died. It ate some chocolate liquid (leaked into the phone) afterwards messed up the screen. I have replaced the screen. Another phone rear camera died iPho 6S: Microphone always fails, others cant hear me correctly on phone . So, I cant give a bulletproof grade for basic functions but user friendly | ||

One more thing with phones flawless, i have issues bluetooth connection in android, often times lags and crashes. But iphone noway....... Installed systemmonitor app to see how much resources used ram is always fully used...but i think they made thier processor the way it wont fail with 8 plus its 6 cores...... yep.. first bought MB Pro (fully loaded) to get away from the Thinkpad x220 and desktop etc.. .. wifey took it away.. sachinattu bought one more MBPro (again loaded full).. but over a period of time found it bulky and heavy to carry for meetings and presentations etc.. bought Air(fully loaded again) now flying on that Air... Its a cult.. you get it, you get it only once.. no back.. | ||

Nenu kooda something like this only... Used to hate apple for the pricey monopoly in the market. Used Palm(HP) Treo, Moto Razr, Windows 3.1 phone, Noookayya, many phones. During that time, I used to lecture my family and friends that I am AntiApple.. only oranges and other fruits.. but after some time, wifey started bugging me for Apple since her friends are also Apples... ( I wish Oranges though)... so, home force made me to buy iphone .. I used to play with it once in a while and started falling for it. Secretly bought an iPhone (paruvu poddi antha lectures ichinodu malla apples enti ani)... sold my other fruits and now I had at least half a dozen apples (4 iphones, 3 Macbooks and one iMac) at home. Built a custom Win 7 rig but its catching dust for the past few years. So, Apple is VERY user friendly(especially those whose main profession is non tech and just need a reliable and fancy toy). I never had a problem with Macbooks or iMac so far. | ||
