Foolish yemundi, turn the clock back and image you are in 2003 1) CBN CM for 8 years 2) CBN has BJP and central govt in its pocket since they need his support 3) He did not play day to day murky politics with Vajpayee/Adavani so they has enormous respect for him 4) Before BJP, Babu was Nation convener and had good terms with all regional parties. On the other side... There is one Modi no one knows appointed as CM of Gujarat and just 2 years as CM. Godhra was a major incident and thousands died. Secular vote was at stake. Byaad luck is Bob would never have thought that that guy Modi will become PM and he will have payback... I still think Modi is not playing vendetta here... though its one possible reason... | ||

10-15 times denying appt thappithe other matters are in public domain. In fact, recently came to know that, at that time when Modi wanted to visit Hyderabad, it is said that CBN gave orders to the then DGP to arrest Modi if he comes to the city. | ||

i heard a story that happened after 2002 gujarat riots Modi wanted to meet centre ( Vajpayee+Advani) and provide an explanation about how things turned out of control CBN and few others were responsible in denying appointment 10-15 times. Modi failed to get appointment to meet Vajpayee,Advani I don't know exact details of how CBN could have had influence on those events. But in Gujju circles there is a talk that CBN made some baseless allegations on Modi. CBN used harsh words like "murderer, killer" etc Gujju circle rumour says that Modi developed a grudge on CBN at that time All these events happened before 2004 If that story was true, then Modi might be resorting to vendetta if this story is fake, Modi should be clean Jaitley might be playing politics | ||
