Not necessary. It is like, you are asking what is Netflix traffic, location wise, this very moment. It is Netflix propreitary data. They are not obligated to make it public. So also, any number of phones may have Netflix Android or iPhone app installed on their devices, but not-active, so download stats do not equal active-stats. Active-stats are always propreitary data. google play store gives u a range.. very wide range saying the app has been installed 500K times to 1 million times... sometimes just 500K... i dnt think they will have a precise number... The way the count works is if the app was installed on a phone for the first time... if u later uninstall it, its still counted as an install... Number of active users is next to impossible i guess | ||

How do you check the number of downloads for an app Whether it is iOS or Android ? Not your app... lets say you saw few apps related to one genre/category... how can we check which app has been downloaded most? What is listed on the itunes/playstore page may not be accurate as app owner How many active users etc might be difficult as only app owner can track that info... but download info should be public, right?
