I didn't read the document and don't disagree with your criticism of blabbering. However, the decision to impose the additional tax to discourage consumption of fossil fuels is commendable. Instead of asking for a reduction in prices of polluting fossil fuels, people should ask for a reduction in other taxes such as income tax, GST on groceries etc. Let the government reduce other taxes and make up for the loss by extracting more on sale of fossil fuels.
