until a few years ago, medico legal cases lo nobody was supposed to touch them and first we had to take them to police station before hospital. That was changed a few years ago. In case of emergency, anybody can take them directly to hospital and the person who brings them would not be harassed. It was a very good law by govt. But it is not publicised properly.
