If your car should be stolen or destroyed in an accident, your insurance would pay only the current market value of the vehicle, not the total amount you have invested in your lease. You would stand to lose a large chunk of your up front cash payment — the same loss you would incur if you had paid cash to purchase your car. Contrast the above total-loss situation with a normal monthly payment lease. If you total your car, the lease company picks up financial responsibility for the difference between what you still owe on the lease and your insurance settlement. This is known as “gap” insurance and is automatically included in most leases. You would lose nothing except your insurance deductible. This is one of the benefits of leasing a car using little or no down payment cash. Gap coverage, even if included in your pre-paid lease, provides no benefit to you. It does not cover your cash losses — exactly the same as if you purchased your car with cash. This risk is greatest in the early months of a pre-paid lease, and lessens as the lease nears its completion. | ||

MF can down if the car finance agrees for MSD (Multiple security deposits)...BMW used to take upto 7 MSDs...and Lexus allows upto 9....You get back MSDs at the end of lease.... suppose your monthly lease payment is $460.... round it up next 50....1 MSD is 500.. 7 X 500 = $3500 down.....your MF will go down by .0002(decided by car financing company) for each MSD... so your MF will be Monthly MF - (7 X .0002)... BMW no longer allows MSDs... | ||

I have leased b4 from bmw/jag/merc. I even had damaged fog lights while returning my 5 series. They don't care as long as you are ready to drive off on your new lease. Also disposition is waived if you lease from same brand. | ||

downing money is not mandatory for leasing...nee monthly payment low kanapaduthundhi down chesthe....but the con is nee bandi total ithe aaa 5000 egiripothundhi.... never put money down....also while leasing get GAP insurance....BMW Finance ithe GAP insurance cover chesetodu up to last year ....not sure now... Heres a trick you should try on your next lease: 1. You can bargain to pay the entire lease amount in one one lumpsum upfront. ex: 18k/39 months 2. You will save a ton of money on lease factor etc. | ||

Just for discussion sake, lets say I plan on taking a Porsche Cayenne Buy: 2017 cayanne used - 10,000 miles odometer reading for 60K. I only plan on using it for 3 yrs (I will put another 30,000 miles on it) and I sell it. KBB value ammetapudu chusthe oka 18K - 20k depreciate avutundi..so I sell it for 40k worst case.. almost new bandi kabatti normal wear and tear thappa pedda issues rakoodadu.. Buy kabatti sle tax bongu boshanam antha kalipi inko 3K vesukuna kooda after 3 yrs my total karchu would be 23K Lease: 2017 cayanne New - 3 yrs lease teesukunte he is asking 5000 down and 700 dollars per month for 36 months = 5000 + 700*36 = 30K approximately avutundi total karchu.. so at the end of the day lease costs more than buying? am I right or am I missing something here? |
