Apparently, it was Rana Daggubati (with high-profile contacts in Mumbai i.e Bollywood circuits) who has stepped in and solved the issue by speaking to both parties and helped the makers of Agnyaathavaasi in a huge way. Rana has come to the rescue of producer Radhar Krishna, director Trivikram Srinivas and actor Pawan Kalyan who are keeping their fingers crossed as the film's release is only four more days to go and huge money is riding on the film and the film's postponement can't be afforded since buyers have bet huge money and the film has to hit for Sankranthi festival to recover its huge investment. Considering the lack of time, the opposite party seems to have demanded over 20 Crore from Agnyaathavaasi makers. But all thanks to Rana, as the deal is finally closed around 10 Crore plus taxes. While Agnyaathavaasi team is taken aback with the plagiarism allegations that the film is allegedly the copy of French film Largo Winch, the issue has been resolved amicably in an out of court settlement. Many know that the issue has been settled through talks but no one knows who is the mediator. Apparently, Trivikram hasn't lifted the entire story of Largo Winch but said to have inspired from the film's plot. Still, the makers of Agnyaathavaasi have agreed to pay the deal amount in order to avoid any unnecessary controversy. Unexpectedly, the film's budget has shot up by 12 Crore in the eleventh hour due to copy allegations. With this, Rana seems to have saved over 10 Crore to the producers of Agnyaathavaasi by his negotiation skills. It is learnt that Pawan is all praise for Rana WE THE NORTH |
