There will be primary purpose and then there will be unintended secondary outlet some take advantage of . Prudent way is to keep calibrating without impacting the primary purpose and closing / minimizing the secondary outlet . If there is a visible misuse of visa’s, tweak it without causing impact to primary purpose. There is still lack of talent in US. As a leader in technology, they cannot fall short now. American education system lagged in STEM focus. They started taking action now but it will be while! The lower tier technology jobs will be lost to automation anyway. Policy should not be needed
This is an excellent info graphic. Can't argue against that. My only concern is that IT industry is couple of legs ahead in the pay . That 'pay' criteria will affect rest of the industry. Labor law has been following geographical and industry normalized pay rate adjustments. When trump( or any of the future presidents ) starts getting to infrastructure there will be an influx of foreign workers there. There is already a significant influx in nursing .. and so on..policies shouldn't affect these other industries!! | ||
