There is a third category of people. Those who do not care for Bitcoin but believe that the underlying blockchain based distributed ledger technology has the potential to disrupt almost all industry verticals. In other words, cryptocurrency is only one use case of Blockchain. I don't think Bitcoin is a fad or a passing cloud. But I do believe there is a correction coming up that will lend some stability to the bitcoin valuation - so that people can actually use it to transact. Unfortunately, at the moment it is being used just as a "get rich quick" tool. That was not the intended purpose of Bitcoin. Waiting for the day when it is as stable as - let us say a USD to INR conversion - so that it becomes a better way of making payments - at least ones that cross international borders. There are 2 aspects to this: 1. one who looks at the amazing developments and forums/networks behind the technology which is going to disrupt the current way of doing things and believe in the story 2. one who looks at all these developments and try to think/make this is is BUBBLE which is going to burst I would suggest before you pass on headline comments, it would be wise to state why do you think so and reasonable debate can happen on that topic and we could arrive at something positive which is going to be mutually benefited. | ||

what is this hype looking like a tulip bubble.... last week experience I went to department in morning my Dutch friend is looking at bitcoin trading on his computer, afternoon too i went for lunch to him still seeing bicoin trading evening while about to leave went to say happy holidays but still he is glued to computer seeing bitcoin trading. now we are looking at marchiryal, karimagara bitcoin craze...looks like its biggest bubble ever created. be careful guys.... q & a: 1)does bitcoin has physical value and you can own like bullion market things----NO 2)Is bitcoin a share or value in any legal entity or business enterprice---NO. 3)is bitcoin widely traded currency like dollar, euro, or yan atleast---no 4)Does retail outlets and renowned commerce comapie accept Bitcoin or crypto crrency mostly no.... 5).do we do international trade and commerce with it??....No ..................................... so what is bitcoin really building its value on???....hype and bubble. idi moderator cheta cheripiveyabadindi... |
