see I ran into following paradox 1)In Germany, people mostly do cash transactions and IT penetration is relatively low, and the government gives damn. 2)In Netherlands government discourages the cash transactions and asks to go digital EVERYWHERE and if you use cash you must pay extra in many cases, starting from travel ticket to buying groceries everything is Digital. now another day I came across a person who doesn't use facebook, mostly reads hard books instead of ebooks and phone is a non-smart one and mingles with people more than a computer and other technologies. now I have following concerns... when you go everything digital every move can be traced by the government starting from what you buy to how you travel to how you behave can be monitored by the computer... so controlling peoples behaviour and fuction, tracing his activities is pretty damn easy. after interacting with these people I find myself scared that whatever I do is recorded and may have a consequence if I go rebel and also human touch has decreased a lot. 24 hours lo sleeping 7-8 hours teeseste remaining 16 hours lo I am always connected to technology in one form or other like cell-phone, laptop, i pad or what so ever.... it's really strange and kind annoying to know whether I became the slave of the technology instead of technology becoming human sub-ordinate for our utility?? idi moderator cheta cheripiveyabadindi... |
