Window 7 doesn't have miracast support or drivers. Is it your desktop/laptop wifi-direct based. If yes, you need to upgrade windows 8/10 to get Miracast.

i used it for a while in the office. it was always buggy, but used to work. it got better after upgrading to windows 10
