follow these steps- 1. Open Roll-over IRA at fidelity,charles schwab,td ameritrade or even ur own bank boa,chase,wellsfargo etc. 2. Ask your 401k plan for a 'direct rollover.' These two words are important: They mean that the 401(k) plan will cut a check directly to your new IRA account, not to you personally. 3. Choose your investments. Since they will enter the IRA as cash, you will want to invest your 401(k) funds. | ||

i am looking to rollover my 401k to an IRA .. Vanguard says i cannot open IRA , because of my non resident alien status.. what are the other stable products out there to open an IRA TIA |
