Manufacturer warranty is only 1 year, I ended up using BB credit card to bu this TV and so no extra warranty but got $350 back that I can spend anywhere... buying extended warranty for a $3500 TV for 2nd and 3rd year gives some peace of mind ani naa idi | ||

why do you need warranty ? except cheap quality dell/hp laptops I dont buy them at all, Manufactures warranty and there will be one more year added by the cards like discover will cover it, Electronics after two years the same product will be much cheaper - | ||

Looking to buy warranty for Sony OLED TV. GeekSquad is very expensive, about $400 for 2 years. Squaretrade through Costco seems to be very inexpensive about $90 for additional 3 years of warranty. I could not find any big differences in coverage between these two, don't know about quality of service for Squaretrade. Did any body use Square trade before, is it a good option to go with ? .. please vivarimpudu |
