1. ED already proved that the assets of Jaggu and his companies which they attached are proceeds of crime. The evidence given by ED satisfied ED adjudicating authority and ED Appellate Authority but Jaggu went for an appeal in the HC by engaging expensive lawyers. HC upheld the verdict of ED Adjudicating Authority that the evidence proves that those are indeed proceeds of crime. Conviction for that crime is a matter of time and it must be done at a different forum although the same evidence would be used against Jaggu. 2. Some unbiased legal experts like the intellectual Lenin and some readers of independent newspaper are of the view that even if one accused is discharged, for whatever reasons, A1 Jaggu and A2 Vijaysai too would be acquitted. For that matter HC and SC even denied them bail twice despite the 90 day limit for statutory bail having exceeded. Ultimately, they obtained bail from lower court after managing to change CBI Advocate and officers and ensured that CBI didn't appeal against the bail even in HC. 3. If Jaggu's experienced and expensive lawyers thought like Lenin the genius, why would they drag the case so much that the judge yells at them for excessive delaying tactics? What is their motive in dragging the case? Do they want to intentionally disturb Jaggu by making him attend court every week and be restricted by bail conditions? If they are expecting an acquittal, why wouldn't they try to expedite the cases? 4. Sheer volume of cases. Despite Jaggu's best efforts including appeals, the courts have refused to combine the chargesheets as they're clearly different crimes. Now, how unreasonable must one be to predict that the verdict in every single one of the 11 CBI chargesheets and few (5?) ED chargesheets would be a complete acquittal?
