What does this mean to people who have diesel cars today that are not BS VI compliant?? They can't use these vehicles on Delhi roads from April 2018? Or it means, car companies cannot sell any pre-BS VI vehicles from April 2018 onwards? |

http://www.bgr.in/news/delhi-air-pollution-indian-capital-to -advance-to-euro-vi-level-fuel-from-april-2018-says-report/ According to a report by Reuters, the oil ministry said all vehicles plying in the capital will have to move to Euro VI from April 2018 to reduce emissions. India uses Euro-IV compliant fuels but last year decided to migrate to the Euro VI level from April 2020, leapfrogging over Euro V norms. |
