Due to its high production cost, Praveen Sattaru and Rajasekhar's mission Garuda Vega may not completely recover its monies through its theatrical run. However, thanks to impressive reviews and ratings, the film's satellite rights are fetching good revenue to the makers that is expected to bail out actor-producer Rajasekhar. As per highly reliable sources, it is learnt that Garuda Vega's satellite rights are on the verge of closing to a leading entertainment channel. Apparently, the deal is said to be over Rs 4.10 Crore which is fairly good amount. This includes satellite and digital. Due to the channel's clause, the makers can't sell the digital rights to any of online platforms such as Amazon Prime or etc. So, Garuda Vega can't sell SVOD or TVOD online. [ SVOD (Subscription Video on Demand) like platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime. TVOD (Transactional Video on Demand) like pay per view such as Hotstar does on its premium content.] Yet, it is buzzed that the deal is pretty good from the Satellite and makers are likely to go ahead. Meanwhile, the TV rights for the Hindi-dubbed version too fetching a fancy sum now. While no one has bothered to buy before the film's release, the situation after the film's release is entirely different. With the film being superhit, the Hindi-dubbed satellite rights also adding good value. Together Telugu satellite rights and Hindi-dubbed satellite rights are expected to bail out Rajasekhar who is expected to be in profits after a really long long time. WE THE NORTH |
