How did China help US to recover from Subprime crisis? Subprime Crisis was triggered by defaulters that failed to pay back the borrowed money to "Greedy banks & Investment firms" who took the advantage of "excessive demand of housing bubble" by lending money to ineligible borrowers that resulted in Panic situation, housing market crash, short selling of stocks & stock market decline, Lack of consumer trust. Govt pumped money ( bailed out ) into the market "to bail out some firms & banks", reduce the interest rates to make emi payments easier ( to reduce further defaults and to gain the purchases from eligible customers ) , and "to gain back consumer trust". Bailout money came from the sale of "Long Standing Treasury Bonds, securities" and also "Printed Money" ( Its okay sometimes to print money to control panic situations without affecting inflation ). Interest Payouts to Treasury Bonds came from increase in various taxes.
