Unprecedented day today at the Supreme Court. Chalameswar yesterday passed an order that the CJI Deepak Mishra might be involved in corruption in a medical college bribery case and constituted a bench. Today CJI dismissed that bench saying that as CJI, he has rights to decide the bench. Ideally the CJI should recuse himself if he was allegedly involved in a case, but here this bugger went ahead and had a bench that he himself constituted over rule Chalameswar's order.
