Fed did a trick this year to improve the h2h He did so by skipping clay season completely If he had done this earlier for 2-3 years, the h2h would have evened out by now Even during few of his slam-less years 2011,2013-16, Fed was playing Nadal on clay If Nadal having a better h2h against Fedex, makes him a better player then Nadal losing to other lesser ranked players in early rounds and not reaching QFs, SFs stage where he could meet Federer, what would that make him? - a lesser player then lesser ranked players? | ||

Another thing is Rafa being a Leftie easily used to Target his backhand on regular intervals and Roger had to run around to convert them to his forehand and in the process loosing those extra seconds and also whenever he played the cross court backhand it was going straight into Rafa's Strong Zone -- When Fed played its like is playing tennis this easy? thats how natural it was for him....it was a gift...it was this play that bought him die hard fans.... coming to getting easy because he is leftie......Rafa didnt have the natural rythym Fed had.....Rafa had to fight it out...and put his body through too much stress to even match this great gifted player.... thats where for me Nadal is a hero.....he fought.....all others like Roddick....Safin....whoever have given up.....but Nadal fought.....fought on surfaces he was not fancied....fought one of the best guys to play ever....and then.....made that guy succumb to the barrage of shots.... today....how many fed fans out there are waiting for one urine sample of Nadala to go wrong to pounce.........mmmmm....not going to happen may be...he is that champ.....may be he is that fighter....who fought odds and defeated the best ever....again....again and again..... mana bias.....dhi emundhi.....i admire Nadal.... but for me what' surprising is that...Fed fans find times when he has bad form...to justify head to head.... no offence.....chaala orjulu ayyindhi...sports thread loki vacchi We are what we repeatedly do. As Many of You already Know Rafa Leads Roger by a Big Margin when it comes to H2H Record. Thanks to 2017 and 5 Consecutive Wins by Roger over Rafa Now that Big Margin has come down to a Decent Margin ;-) Actually If You Closely look at Roger and Rafa's H2H Stats It was Never that bad as It was Made out to be. It all boils down to Two Worst Years Roger had ever in his Career (2008 and 2013). 2013 ayithe by far his Worst year in his Entire Career when he was even loosing to Players outside of Top-50 in Straight Sets. Even in Such a bad Year, He was able to go deep into the Tournaments and he is setting up Matches against Rafa and Rafa defeated him 4 Straight times that Year. Similarly 2015 is Rafa's Worst Year ever however in Rafa's bad year he wasn't even going deep into the Tournaments and that way avoided Squaring up against Roger and That whole Year Roger and Rafa didn't even meet once So basically in Roger's bad years he was going deep into the tournaments and thus squaring up with Rafa and when the same happened to Rafa (Bad Years Like 2015) he didn't reciprocate the favor as he was loosing in Either R1 or R2 ;-) |
