Who do you think is Michelangelo/Da Vince genius in art for our generation. I can only think of one name, David Lynch. manishi kaadu saami eeyana. cinema ni art form lo teeyadam lo eeyani kotevaru leru. His art is combination of sound, color, weirdness and intrigue. I am just glad I am living in the same generation of his. 25 years back he made twin peaks which defined TV at that time, season 2 he didn't direct and was badly messed up. Studios at that time were not habituated to long mystery series so forced him to reveal the killer in early season and the show dropped from there. In his series his characters mention I will see you in 25 years, exactly after 25 years he made Twin Peaks the return. this was directed by completely him. For most audiences this series will be very slow but for true lovers of cinema and intrigue, mind boggling. Highlight is the way he ended the series no one is able to make up the full picture. he is not interested in revealing the true plot even though he is dead and might only be uncovered by later generation. ... |
