then the only possible explanation is Cincy being outdoors and is played in summer helps it play quicker.. remember it's not always just surface that contributes to court playing slow or fast.. weather conditions, type of balls being used contribute to it too.. hot weather and lighter balls always make the game quicker.. anyway simple eye test tells London doesn't play as quick as Cincy.. | ||

i know him all too well babai.. with all things considered i'm again saying it will not be much of a contest.. especially on these quicker surfaces and adding Best of 3 to the mix.. Novak's game is not built to play offensive all the time like Fed and take complete advantage of quicker conditions.. if you look at history too you'll see he always struggles to stay with Roger on quicker surfaces..
mental toughness is not always about coming back in matches.. it's also about closing out if you are staying in front in matches.. second category consider chesthe we cannot really say Novak did well all the time between 2011 and 2016.. if he was really tough mentally he wud've not lost 2013 French Open, 2013 US Open and 2014 French Open.. and shud've won more than just a single slam title per season in 2012, 2013 and 2014.. Having said that i'll definitely give it to him when it comes to mental toughness in 2015 and till half of 2016.. | ||

period between that Montreal final till US Open did the damage.. Montreal played culprit with Fed's chances of getting back to No.1 and ending this year as No.1.. got injured there which made him skip Cincy (one of his most favorite hunting grounds like Halle and Basel) and he was never well at US Open too.. anyway good he decided to not chase year end No.1 and prioritize his health over it.. | ||

I am both Happy and Sad that Roger isnt Playing Paris. Actually More Happy than SAD Its Good that He Is Making Sure he is in the Best of Conditions (Physically) when he Plays ATP. So Skipping Paris is a Good thing however that will Cost him that Outside chance that he had to Finish the Season No.1 Even If Roger Plays Paris, Rafa has to Play Terribly in Paris and WTF and Roger has to Win both the Titles to Finish the Year No.1 and the Probability of those 2 Things Happening is Virtually Next to Impossible. So Its Good in a way that He decided to Skip Paris and Play WTF directly | ||
