If you spend within your means and save(voluntarily) endukanta(mandatory vi untayi like pension etc). you will site on a good pile at the end. 7. you retire at 58-60 and keep making money until then in cruise mode. now look at IT If you start now (since you are 30) it will be alteast 1 yr before you get a break and you will start at lets say 2-4 lakhs per annum, 1. you will have to keep learning new technologies each time to keep ahead. 2. every year fresh college grads enter the market and keep filling up entry level positions pushing the likes of you up the chain, at some point if your salary increases with time(which it will) you will fall under the category that becomes a liability for the companies(happening all over), so lets say by 36-38 you will find yourself at mid-level with 6-8 years of experience and then what? if you are very successful you may extend your stay for 2-4 years then you really become a liability. unless you manage to rise up to the level C or E level there is no guarantee. 3. when you hit 40+ every year you have a job is a bonus I am not trying to scare you but i think this is happening around In history there is no such thing as the last word on any subject research leads to new things every day | ||

Govt job resign chesi IT lo ravadam anta useless pani inkoti undadu, take any alternate advice with a huge pinch of salt. You may be getting hyped about salaries in IT sector and the grass always looks greener on the otherside. You will be making lesser salary now but stable one with all benefits including pension. Life ki financial security is more important, you should plan your life accordingly. Here is my honest suggestion DO NOT RUN AFTER IT JOBS, its a bubble waiting to burst eventually. 1. Try to prepare for group exams in your own line which will move you up in the scale(+ increments), you will have ample opportunities including deputations to other depts. Try to get an MTech or advanced education which will help you in your growth. 2. Marry a govt job holder(teacher or lecturer or some other department). 3. Both of your combined income will easily touch 1lk per month eventually or atleast 50 to 60k per month and with benefits and retirement for both. 4. research and invest in avenues that will make money for you - try to invest in stock market in small amounts ( mutual funds + life insurance schemes), you could teach part time to make more money if you have an interest in teaching, if you have the opportunity & place engage in green-house cultivation, does not need to be expensive, you can do it in small way and still earn big (mushrooms are good example), if you own any agricultural land seed crop is a good option you dont have to invest anything but get an assured sum. 5. chellalla pellillu ki help cheyachu easy ga since your dad is also govt employee if you plan accordingly Do not run after IT or any other short term things that look alluring. Naa suggestion aithe stay in present job and try for promotion through exams internal If you get a job for 5 lakhs in Bangalore again you have to spend 12 to 15 per month At least you have to be there in same job for 2 years because you don’t have the experience, So after 2 years you will get 6 lakhs job if there is any issue in work location or project issues you have to loose your job you have 2 sisters family needs your support .....job satisfaction ani vunadhi cheda kottuko ku ...... if you get contract job again full of tensions .....you will get Loans in government for less interest Try to do some business or some other job in your free time | ||

IT ki switch avvacchu...but again u will have to spend 2-3 years in process of learning, getting a job and settling down...don’t expect its a shortcut...keep your current job, join some course during evenings and weekends and practice well..crack a job interview...again it will not be the first interview will be a success, but eventually u will get through if you keep reading and practicing...once u get a job, resign the old one....again in new job, it will take around 6-8 months to understand the work and feel comfortable...aa tharavatha meeru kooda andari laagane line lo padipothaaru... Technologies wise, linux lo touch undhi annaaru kaabatti hadoop/big data side baane untundi..u can learn Python/Spark and basics of Hadoop eco system... | ||
