Brilliant movie. In a near barren year for Bollywood, this movie abt an aspiring teenage Muslim singer is like a breath of fresh air. Oustanding performances by the entire cast. The Best part....this is more than your average underdog story. The sheer number of little backstories this packs is outstanding. It speaks abt Feminism, Female Genocide, Teenage love story, A cheesy Music Director with a big heart, Domestic Violence, Dreaming big and abt celebrating Motherhood. This is a beautiful story with a heart even if a bit predictable. Do not miss. 4/5. |
