all non-minority schools (aka hindu schools, atleast mostly) are required to give 25% seats to the "Disadvantaged" to fulfill the RTE requirements. not 100% sure, but if the 25% seats are not filled, even then the school cant fill them directly with others. minority schools are exempt for this. | ||

No one can destroy Hinduism, as there is NO STRICT definition of HINDU. It is flexible and encompasses EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. One can see GOD in ANY FORM, so in a way, Christian Hindus see GOD in the FORM of JESUS and Muslim Hindus see god in the FORM of Mohammed. Hinduism is VERY FLEXIBLE and can take any form and NOT RIGID like Abrahamic religions. Hinduism is the ONLY major religion that didn't FORCE/BUY conversions. | ||

Missionary activity was successful partly cos they started with schools and hospitals so the questions asked about temples make sense! When I was a kid , I was in 4 convent schools till high school - every city had a reputed convent school and hospital - not churches ... the schools took in poor students as resident students on condition on conversion  It's time for Hindu ethos to shift towards community mobilization ... having group service activities, and samoohika pujas - I personally think the lure of ayyappa , sai baba or any Guru is the feeling of community generated by participation with like minded people.. just building a temple does not do much to get involvement - but building a community supported temple does !
