When we live in society Comparison bound to happen either it with our jobs or status or cars or houses or kids. In US why Telugus are buying houses more than any other Indian community even without having proper jobs or status?????? In same way US is also no different in education too, people are starting SAT coaching from 7th onwards. In central Jersey there are couple of institutes which gives training on SAT from 7th. isn't it adding additional pressure on parents and kids while comparing with other kids? Basically we are feared people, we fear of our jobs, visa status, our future status for every thing we fear and plan safe side. While buying 2nd hand car also we see Resalebility...In same way we / our parents fear about kids future... The day when we believe Education is more important than academics and education will help us fly high in career that is the day end to all this unnecessary pressure..... Some times kids do well when we put little bit pressure on them, if we leave for their faith then it is like "Galli lo deepam"...but at same time parent also need to understand kids ability. There are few kids who are not succeeding bez of not putting much efforts, for these kids Residential colleges will help. Most of us (not every one) all reached this position bez of parents pressure on us only. | ||

This is a catch 22... everybody is to be blamed here... The fear of my kid becoming another middle class fella is driving the parents nuts and they torture kids... These private institues cash on the parent's fear by promising sky and earth to which not every kid is ready... This is not gonna change.. as a matter of fact this has become a trend in US too... i personally know someone whos kid committed suicide because of the pressure.... if u live in or around central jersey, Virginia u will know that US is no different... | ||
