They thought they can get over by submitting fake info /docs..but now a days IT dept in India has become strict and doing audits on every case that looked supsecious Read a news item few days back that IT dept had sought satellite pics of last 4 yrs from ISRO to check the authenticity of a guy who claimed crores of income as agriculture income from his farm.But in investigation the satellite pics showed that the land is barren and not even fit for culitivation and not even gras is grown there from last 3 yrs | ||

Actually from 2016 the income tax deduction limit has been increased to Rs. 1,25,000 if you have any dependent who is disabled. May be the tax consultant has advised to use the loop holes [The disabiity term is broady defined for pupoase of tax deduction.Even a old aged person (parnets) who needs assistance of other person for performing daily activities can be claimed as dependent.Just a doctor certificate is enough] | ||

ikkada disability antey different levels lo untundhi...based on income levels, most of our folks will not be eligible for Social security benefits. State government level lo 2014 law valla some states stopped looking at parent's income if a child is disabled...so insurance benefits istaaru... even if you don't qualify for disability, medical expenses beyond certain level are eligible for tax deduction. india lo depending on the severity of disability, 60K-1.5lakhs varaku deductible anukunta | ||
