It's irrelevant whether the party is of business in nature or a govt organization, I just want to tell that block chain is still few years away from being adopted by the customers. It can not disrupt the existing mechanism, in fact will act as foundation Ledger is not only related to financial sector ba... u can call the transaction register between 2 parties a ledger And one more thing is to disburse the targeted benefits for welfare scheme beneficiaries, u might link the citizen info to financial accounts Guntur, Hyderabad, Andhra, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka first....India last!!! | ||

They are thinking of using Blockchain not as a financial fund transfer mechanism but a way to record citizen data and link it to government services. So, it doesn't matter if DLT is not matured (which it is) to replace RTGS. They can still go ahead and deal with non PCI, non PII data. | ||
