RTE telangana lo inka implement avvaledu. while i think rte sounds good on paper the govt. is shifting its responsibility to private schools while ignoring the problems of state run schools and doing nothing to fix them. while i agree the policy and its implementation is flawed I still beleive govt. should do something to keep primary education reasonably affordable HSPA has been banging on govt. doors since a couple of years about increasing fees. nothing is going to come out of it except facebook likes and what's app shares. | ||

If that is the criterion, we should be asking govt to run govt schools properly. Govt already runs primary education and it is fcukced up beyond repair. And we are asking the same govt to regulate private schools? | ||

Congress is coming with more invidious plans......Per RTE, private schools run by Hindus have to give 25% free seats(and govt may reimburse a portion of it in future - remmeber this is a reimbursement in future). Now Congies are saying there should be no reimbursement at all and private schools should educate freely anta.....so what should the school do? they have to education all students only with 75% of them paying the fees. Enigmatic, let us figure out why school fees are increasing and why most schools are run by people with political muscle. Entry barriers - you need a certs like NOC. If you think you have 20 crores and start a school easily, you are mistaken. Only people with political connections are able to push these and that is why no new schools are coming up(Only minorities have no such restrictions) and the incumbent schools are making a killing. Remove the entry barriers and new entrants will come and level the playing field. The new central law RTE is so bad - private schools run by Hindus have to give 25% free seats and govt reimburses a portion of it in future(no guarantee), playground requirements, teacher/student ratio, classroom sizes maintain cheyyaali...This law is not implemented fully in AP/TS......adi chesthe the situation will become worse....on top of tall these, if govt regulates school fees also, it will be much worse.....many private schools run by Hindus(the law does not apply to schools run by minorities) are closing down...inkaa kotha laws thesthe, ee protest chese parents kids fees thagguthaayi kaani future kids might not get a chance to go to the same school. http://nisaindia.org/data-on-school-closures | ||

anni alane vunte chaduvu manipinchaleru kada. they have no alternative left where every school is increasing fees atleast 10-15% every year. while i agree govt. cannot regulate everything they do have a point. primary education needs to be affordable for people from all sections of the society. | ||

Free market kada. good thing that happened is that there is no admission fee now because of govt regulations. so ee school fee ekkuva aithe vere school lo cherchandi. evvadu cheraka pothe ee school moosukuntadu kada. why worry about the school fee increase. | ||

I am hearing Private School Fee issue sicne my childhood There are schools of all types in Hyd ..starting for Rs 100 to Rs 1,00,000.Parents have to chose the choold taht fit thier affordabality. The corporate and 'International Schools' are cashing in on parents craze.Theese parents association is nothing but bunch of parents who send thier schools for corporate schools and cribbing on Govt to take action.Let the parents send thier kids where the fee is low (The little flowers,the st pauls or Bharatita Vidhya Bhavan type of schools instead) | ||
