As on today Moviepass is a debit card which has allowance of $10.50 to 14.00 depending on the city But work,song leni janaalu ekkuva vundi if people see more movies Moviepass guys has to shellout more money At present he is targeting to increase customer base like FB and be sold to bigger person No Signature | ||

If tickets are sold at this price, Hollywood will stop distributing their films to theatres which accept Moviepass. For example, in 2016, AMC revenue through tickets was $2.04 Billion and out of that, they paid $1.08 Billion to Studios. In all theatre chains, close to 50% goes to Studios. Theater chains will also be afraid to give so much control to Moviepass. We saw what happened to Music studios after iTunes success. | ||

Moviepass is following netflix business model.Netflix started as unlimited DVD rentals for flat monthly fee.(even it barely covered shipping fee for 1 dvd).Moviepass may be buying tockets in bulk with the theatres and may be paying around $2 per ticket .Moviepass will be in losses for next few yrs,but may be profitable by cross selling other services directy to it's customers etc It will be building a huge targeted customer base and may sell/merge with a company that suits its profile Remember,whatsapp was aquired by facebook for $19 billion ,only for the 400 million active users it had by then and had no revenue BTW ,The CEO of Moviepass ,Mitch Lowe is co-founder of Netflix and ex-Ceo of Redbox.So,he is not new to the game | ||
