Landmark decision by Supreme Court and all those who fought against Triple Talaq... Great push by the Govt towards a reform which is nothing short of Sati and Dowry in our religion... This wud hav remained a dream in the era of sickular Cong.... Shame on those 2 judges who gave verdicts 'For Talaq' but sense prevailed with the other 3 and it finally scraped through! Still a lot more such reforms needed to get out of the patriarchal mindsets which cut across religions. Uniform Civil Code next??? |
