the sigil of Targaryens is a three headed dragon - symbol for three dragons of Aegon. One is ridden by Aegon, the other two by his sister wives. Rhaegar believes in the prophecy that he will three kids, for three dragons of his father and the sigil. and one of the kids will be the one's who will win the war against darkness. His wife Ellia Martell has health issues after giving birth to second, and Rhaegar then pursues Lyanna that he needs a third kid for the prophecy to come true. This spells doom for him, as Robert who was in love with Lyanna thinks that he took Lyanna by force. He rebels against them and kills Rhaegar. that third son he has is Jon Snow. Incidentally Dany again has three dragons - and she names them after this husband, and two brothers. Some say Tyrion is also a Targaryen, this is based on Tywin's words. Tywin says something to the affect that Since I cannot prove that you are not my son, I allow you to wear my colors. After the battle of blackwater, Tywin never comes to see his wounded son Tyrion. Tyrion gets really upset because of this, and goes and asks for a reward. the reward he asks is his RIGHT of CasterlyRock. As Jamie is a King's hand and he does not have the right anymore. Tywin says he has No RIGHT to the ROCK, and he would rather give it a Lannister cousin than Tyrion. And finally Tywin's last words "YOU ARE NO SON OF MINE" Appearance of Tyrion - All Lannisters have golden hair, while Tyrion has pale hair like the Targaryens. The rest if fan speculation  Tyrion goes to feed the dragons and comes out alive. Tywin Lannister was the Hand of the King - Aerys Targaryen, and it is speculated that Aerys might have seduced Tywin's wife during this time. Another common theme, Dany's mom dies giving birth. Jon's Mom dies giving birth. Tyrion's mom dies giving birth. | ||

From Quora and r/gameofthrones and r/freefolks White Walkers were created by Children for their protection. But somewhere down the line they got more ambitious and didn't want to be glorified watchmen of Children. And thus, they went rogue. Children of Forest knew how to stop them as they had created them. And so they recruited Bloodraven and then Bran who's a powerful Greenseer and can delve into past, present and future. So, in order to remove the last obstacle from their paths, White Walkers attacked the Sacred Tree. And in doing so they killed Bloodraven, Children of Forest, Summer and Hodor. Unfortunately for them, Bran and Meera escaped. White Walkers would continue to hunt them down. Let's hope they survive. | ||

you mean why they attack Men in the past? The legend is that Children of Forest created them from Men. Children of Forest are very few in numbers and they could never match with men in volume, except for the magical powers. they created white walkers who have the ability to raise the dead and use them against Men. Once this happens, Children of Forst and First men come to truce after this happens. Even after the Truce, the white walkers keep attacking First Men, and even Children of Forest, Children of Forest lost control of them, and it is not known why. | ||

there is more to come from Bran, even if this is something Bran did not do. Why are white walkers coming back to the wall? What was happening at Craster's keep had alot of significance. Brandon the builder built the wall, which means he had super natural abilities to control Ice, similar to white walkers abilities to control Ice. The children of the forest created the white walkers from the first men. I feel the night king was a Stark and Stark's had the ability to control Ice, like the Targaryens have the ability to control fire. Targaryens can control fire and dragons and they have the ability of visions, in which they see past and future. Similarly, Starks could control Ice and have the ability to worg. In the books, all Stark kids have the ability to worg, but in the show it is revealed as though Bran could do it. In one of the seasons, Tywin Lannister says to Arya, that it seems the Robb Stark can become a wolf himself, and it is shown that the wolves protect and feel the Stark emotions like the Dragons do for Dany. This all means, is Jon Snow has both the abilities, that is to control fire and ice. The "Song Fire and Ice" was suppsoed to be Rhaegar's first son, according to Rahegar - but it seems to be Jon Snow. I feel that is one of the reasons, the Night King isnt killing Jon. How else could we explain, that the Night King uses his spear to kill a dragon, but just watches on, while Jon is stranded on ice mountain, in a frozen lake. I am speculating that there was some deal between First Men and White walkers, which lead to the building of the wall,and also giving new borns to white walkers. Return of Dragons, and the end of Craster may be the reason for the walkers to come back to the south to deal with Men. just, theories in my mind. | ||

i think it ends with Drogo killing Dany... atleast in the books... the promised prince kills his wife(or spouse) according to the prophecy.. one story is Jon is the prince and he may kill Dany.... he already takes the opposite side of Ygrittee once.. or if Dany is the promised one, she might kill Jon... but there is a prophecy that he will be back.. if he comes back.. either it ends with Drogo killing Dany .. or Dany killing Drogo GoT is the name of the show, indicating it is more about the trones.. and TV show may take that route... but the book names completely avoid that usage of thrones. | ||

Dragons names Drogon - name after Khal Drogo(hubby) Viserion - named after Viserys - sadistic bro Rhaegal - named after Rhaegon - another bro viserion went to the dark side(here the white side) after death..
