what is this comedy? ishtam lekapothe don't join private schools. Given enough freedom, there will be schools catering to all sections of the society. RTE ani oka chettha law thecchi they actually made it less competitive. they should remove these restrictions and let people decide the best schools for their children. No one is forcing you to send your kids to a pvt school if you don't like it. Govt money is better spent in areas where it can actually make a difference. education is not that area in india as has been proved by the pathetic state of public schools long before private schools became so widespread. Lenin, Read my post again. Funding is not the issue. Even a small IT team chese product ki owner untaadu. Someone has to own it. If the team is not delivering the product, they fire people and get new people. This is possible in private schools, not govt schools. Head master does not have any real power. If a teacher does not perform, can he/she be fired? Then there is issue of promotions, rosters - do you see the issue? Private school teachers earn less than govt school teachers - funding is not the issue. If you increase the funding but hhe rules and team does not change, the product won't change. | ||

Why are got schools fcucked up beyond repair in India? It is not funding. Govt school teacher salaries are high. A teacher in a rural area makes on par with a senior IT guy in a city. Govt schools teachers themselves don;t send kids to govt schools. Why? (Contrast with public schools in US. Public school teachers send kids to public schools.) no control/accountability, promotion criteria. Does principal in a govt school have control over school like in private schools? | ||

This rule already applies to minorities. Hindus have to get NOC from govt and then set up school. Jagan(Christian) does not have to ask permit from govt. He can ask for minority cert from NCMEI and if he does not get it in stipulated time, he can start a school. This is what NCM ACt amendment brought by UPA Govt says. Jagan's community is already enjoying this privelege. | ||
