Rrunner:

For pre-existing conditions whether you claim or not it does not matter. It will not be covered during the initial 3 years of policy coverage.
They have a list of pre-existing and a list of conditions for emergency.

In your case only emergency services like say an accident wound/surgery would be covered as per my knowledge.

not a pre existing condition... it's diff issue/treatment.. but insurance vallu same old treatment continuation antonnar

Outpatient procedures are "Rarely" covered under health insurance.Minimum 1 day hospital stay is required to be considered for Inpatient status and for most claims.

India lo insurance is called Hospitalization insurance as generally OP is not prohibitively expensive in India unlike US

for apollo there is a medical team sitting in pune who would evaluate your case and either accept or reject based on their policy guidelines.

In India if you have personal health insurance(not through employer) for less than 3 years of continuous coverage, then most of the claims will be rejected due to various clauses like preexisting conditions.so unless it is an emergency procedure and with prior approval.I don't think anybody would be able to circumvent the claim process.
