TCS is still in talks with govt to setup a new facility, they badly want to setup at tirupati, as TTD is a major vendor, and there are lot of yet to start projects and many ongoing projects... But government is stongly asking them to setup in Vijayawada, so that is the reason for the delay... | ||

Also, the other plan is to run all the airplanes originating from Vizag with a stop at vijayawada Recent Emirates, morethan 1 million people from seema, esp from Madanapalle & Kadapa live in Gulf & every day, 200 people travel from chennai airport from these places. They have been asking from many years, to make tirupati airport international and start sevices to Dubai atleast. Because, to reach their homes, they need to rent a cab from their city, so the tolls & inter state taxes & corruption in broder, is costing them an extra 5000, which is 30% of ticket cost So, AI was ready to start a service initially to Dubai, in october 2015 itself, then postponed to June 2016, October 2016, Nov 2016, Dec 2016, June 2017, ...And now from no where, Emirates Flights from Vijayawada from Sep 2017 Why not show same interest towards other regions too? If such is the action of government & strong lobying from your 2 districts, why should not the people of other regions grow the hateredness? How is that a equal treatement?
