Same reason....she goes to check it out of curiosity....feels welcome by them after a long time....gets comfortable seein Jessica and another girl.... Point is teenagers make mistakes.....she is shaken up already during the day and jst wants to be a part of a different world...even if briefly. | ||

She goes to the party because she wants to be a part of the group and feel normal again after an year of ostracisation. Binge worthy series though pretty depressing. And inadvertently, it might also send the wrong message to kids that suicide is the easy way out when things go out of control and you are not in the right frame of mind. Also scary is a hint that 'suicide note' is enough to blame the people responsible and a good way to get back at them. But Hannah's story is very haunting and you keep rooting for Clay and Hannah to become a couple even while knowing it wasn't possible. The series was very controversial, but highlights trauma faced by teenagers from their peers which is usually brushed off. | ||

They should have let her be, the way she just was. She never harmed anybody, there was no reason any one of those named in the list of tapes, had the freedom to ruin her life. it is a very important show about the pathetic state of social relationships in High Schools all across America.
