The best thing to do is,abort the TB visa plans for time being and ask him to come back to Canada Wait for few months or a year,apply for fresh TN visa with a new employer and with ALL documents and at a new port of entry,along with family (Let him catch a plane and land,instead of taking road ) I think NAFTA is under re-negotiations now and with Trump's uncertainity,the whole TN visa may be scrapped/limted/altered Even if your friend succeeds in getting a TN visa now,there is no guarantee that the visas my be scrapped next month or next year If his spouse may not be working in USA,there are other ways(visas) for your friend to get into a Job with employment auhorization without bothering TN visa | ||
