he has TN visa already stamped, this time he went becoz of his family, he wanted to get their dependent visas stamped, the officer told him that he can go to US as a visitor but not on work visa, and also since Detroit border guys asked him to submit additonal supporting docs | ||

He should have crossed or can cross as visitor and can apply change of status from inside USA by sending his docs to USICS directly | ||

They will not ask, but you need to inform them if you want visa(TN in this case) on your passport.They will send you to another office nearby for secondary immigration check for interview and stamping | ||

Advice him to avoid Detroit (unless there is no written condition) cross through some remote and less busy border post..like from any upstate New York locations on Lake Ontario near Kingston etc..but with a backup answer why he is crossing through that location.. | ||

Detroit post is worst .The immigration officers there are very biased and racial .I have crossed border into USA at least 70 times from various ports.I had problems always,only at Detroit .Avoid Detroit | ||

yeah TN is kind of tough, same rules emo mostly for H1 and TN, only advantage is you dont need to go through lottery system but if you have propery qualifications TN visa ki issues emuntayi | ||

I know some one who has been working on TN visa for last 15 yrs.. renewing every 3 yrs .. ippudu 55 age.. so monne H1 ki maraadu clown gadu NAFTA ki problem create chestadu emo ani bhayam tho..
