Provide references after all tech-rounds are complete, and client wants to decide whether they want to proceed or not, so client would like to speak with references. for contracting positions, you guyz will share the references without even scheduling the technical round ? what if they say your resume cannot be submitted unless references are provided ? i am not sure if i am doing the right thing or not but lost so many submissions for this reason. i wont share reference unless tech round is scheduled. few yrs back, one my colleague shared my contact as reference. After couple of hrs vendor called me and asked about my friend and few days they started calling me left and right asking if there are any openings... since then i wont share any reference unless tech round is scheduled. please advise if i am doing anything wrong.. | ||
