2 separate tickets is a big problem , for ex , most of the times like say you need go to India from Raleigh NC, you need to get connection at NJ or NW , Washington etc , First issue, luggage , you need to transport yourself , second international allowance is different from domestic in some airlines, Second issue , if there is a delay in first flight , connection will be missed and you are on your own . It will work if you live in big cities, going to India etc will not work , if you live in a city where there are no direct connections .. for ex , if you try to book through Qatar airlines or emirates , the price will be 3 to 4 times more than booking with websites - | ||

that was the warast part. I waited 20 minutes to speak with an offshore guy who then connected in 10 minutes to his supervisor. Ahe made an offer, 800$ for flight change. I had flight changes done freely before and refused. Bad decision, and 30 minutes later was on hold with another customer service lady who was just plain arrogant anf said take it or leave it. Booked 3 tickets - within US travel 2 months ago. Paid $50 for insurance. Total $1400. Withinin days of travel, had to cancel. Expedia gave full refund in. Ou her to be used iwithin 1 yearbut oka condition - must book through the same airline as niw for arleast one leg. And at the time of booking. $200 penalty per ticket. $600 deep hole. Called insurance- says no medical emergencies for immediate family so no coverage. Total $650 poyinaayi. Denkesinatte antaara or anyway to recover that money? |
