Problem now a days is company's use some form of knowledge bank/tools. Experience gained over years is gone, as interested developers can search problems and find out solution. And XYZ best practices ani kodite google lo there are thousands if not more websites which show up. I have a couple more years experience than you.. been to almost 10-15 onsite interviews (after 20-30 phone & 15-20 coding) in the past 1.5 years..got many questions like you mentioned.. some of them I was able to answer 80-90%.. I couldn't believe myself after the interview.. once you say you are experienced/ sr. dev, you are not that attractive anymore if you are mediocre.. you need to be exceptional..start with Cracking the coding interview...you will need it and will help in your interview..
