If 100 TMC utilised for industrial needs, it adds 1000cr*100 =1 lac cr to GSDP
If 100 tmc utilised for fisheries then it adds 350cr*100 =35,000 cr to GSDP
Remaining 500 to 600 TMC be for agriculture and it would add 100cr*500=50,000 cr to GSDP
Net impact would be 1.85 lac cr to GSDP which is huge... Maximizing the benefits depends on how much water utilised for industries and fisheries.

It explains why KCR and CBN are spending more money on irrigation..

Let us take polavaram... It has 4 canals in pipeline on both sides with capacity to transfer 3.5 TMC per day. Apart from storage capacity of 190 TMC.

For 150+ days there will be floods in Godavari. For all those days u would divert 150*3.5 = 525 TMC. If it floods for 180 days then it would be 625 TMC. Between December and may u would utilise 190 TMC stored in the project.. almost 700 to 800 TMC water would be utilised
