All the above schools are the best schools in Hyderabad. Many of our known kids and our own kids studyin there. They are doin jst fine. One needs to understand that more than the schools themselves...peer group and parents' guidance is important. If we think by avoiding these schools, our kid is safe, we are kidding ourselves. Jst a matter of time when the peddlers target every other school right to the Govt. ones. Where shall we hide our kids then? | ||

The recent crackdown on drug peddlers and arrest of 7 narcotics supplier has blown the lid off an organized racket which was supplying drugs to minors in the twin city of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The Gang was importing drugs from Chicago, USA and selling it in to the city. The Telangana Excise department and prohibition department has so far seized substantial quantity of drugs including MDMA or methylenedioxymethamphetamine, commonly known as 'ecstasy' worth Rs 30 lakhs which has a market value of over Rs 1 crore from the drug peddlers. The investigation has revealed shocking details and Excise department believe that the gang was mainly supplying drugs to the students of several high profile corporate and international schools in the twin cities where the children of celebrities, politicians and police officers study. Investigators has also found kids as young as 13 to 30-year-old youths working in city based MNC were customers of the gang and were frequently found purchasing MDMC or LSD. | ||
