but I feel Indian team is bowling is a T20 bowling team playing the longer version. The affect of T20 is clearly visible, the first 10 overs, and the last overs they are doing a beautiful job, while the mid overs, they are not able to attack.

+1 i have expressed same kind of opinion other day

pacer/spinner evaraina sare they think we have to bowl straight in limited over cricket

50 overs lo janalu middle overs lo easy gaa scoop chesi runs ostunayi, and they are not trying any other new bowl

Ashwin had especially bad series... i think that made a whole lot of difference in this series.

unless it is a wrist spinner, this is the trend with regular spinners in middle overs

probably tahir is the only guy who is regularly picking up wkts in middle overs

Let me clarify first, Im a big fan of One Day cricket. I like the other formats as well. I feel one of these formats may become financially unviable.

After following/watching the recent ICC championship trophy, I feel the end is near.

Not one game was a close game - this i feel is mainly because of T20. Looks like in Most teams, there are only a few players who are able to successfully adjust their games based on the format.

As Evident, I feel that there were only three times that were playing a complete ODI game - England, India(partly), Pak and Bangladesh. this is after considering both bowling and batting over 50 overs.

That is most players in the rest of teams, are playing a longer version of T20 in ODIs, and that is back firing.

In most games, if a team has successfully set a target or chased a target, one or atmost two players who played the longer innings that is making things happen. Once that batsmen are out of the picture, the rest of the folks arent able to switch gears easily.

Coming to Indian batting, they still seem to be the best and are doing a great job in being able to switch between formats, but I feel Indian team is bowling is a T20 bowling team playing the longer version. The affect of T20 is clearly visible, the first 10 overs, and the last overs they are doing a beautiful job, while the mid overs, they are not able to attack.

Ashwin had especially bad series... i think that made a whole lot of difference in this series.
