Not trying to boast, but our nursing staff thinks that I tend to get most parents who are reluctant to vaccinate their children change their minds.

When it comes to vaccines, all of us in our office are on the same page. We recommend vaccines for all those who can receive them. We don't encourage alternate schedules, but depending on what these alternate schedules look like, sometimes allow them. Those who refuse vaccines get asked to sign a vaccine refusal form. However, unlike some practices, we don't terminate those who refuse vaccines.

Not a good idea to have 2 different pediatricians, unless they both happen to work in the office.

For example, we are a group of 9 pediatricians, and parents can choose to see any of us for any issue. This works OK, though I prefer that they stick to the same pediatrician for all the visits.

The kids I have seen the most are the ones I know the best, and without looking in their chart, I can recollect most of their previous health history.

Also, keep in mind issues overlap, and having just pediatrician deal with will be an advantage to both him/her and the child.

undochu, but not recommended, reason is you loose the track of records related to the visits,

when one doctor need to analyze the medical history it is very hard to analyze situation based on the limited available records.

as long as you can maintain this you are ok, other issue is visiting 2 doctors in a month for same cause not covered by insurance,so you may have some problems related to insurance

in your case you should keep 2 pediatricians ,since getting their appointments may be difficult some times
